The Well Community Church meets for Sunday worship at 11:00 a.m. at the Bellevue Boys and Girls Club in downtown Bellevue on Seattle’s Eastside. Please arrive early to find parking in the Club’s parking lot and make your way to the main auditorium. As you enter the building, our welcoming team will greet you, direct you and answer your questions. Our worship service is approximately 90 minutes, followed by our Connect Lunch.
Here’s a quick overview of the service:
We begin our time together singing a few songs of praise to God for who He is and all He has done.
The singing is followed by the sermon. We are committed to expositional preaching which simply means we teach the Bible. In our sermon series, we generally go through books of the Bible and study verse by verse and section by section.
After hearing the sermon, we spend time responding to what we have just learned. We respond through prayers of confession and singing followed by communion.
After the closing prayer, we have our Connect Lunch. This is a time of connecting with others over lunch.
Our commitment to the families that come to The Well is to provide care and to minister to each child, helping them find and follow Jesus. We provide a safe and secure environment for every age. Everyone in our family ministries have been interviewed and background-checked, before they come in contact with your children. We ask families to arrive a few minutes early to ensure a smooth check-in and drop-off.
The Well Nursery (0-18 months)
As you enter the building, please check in your baby at one of the check-in stations. After checking in, you will make your way down to the lower floor, via the stairs or an elevator available for use. As nursery drop-off can sometimes be difficult, please make every effort to arrive on time and provide all necessary items for your child to our nursery team. For more info, please click here
The Well Kids Jr. (Preschool to Toddlers)
After checking in your child, please bring them to the lower floor to the Kids Jr. classrooms. We provide safe, age-appropriate environments for your children. We use The Gospel Project curriculum, which teaches through the Bible and connects it all back to Jesus. We partner with parents by providing handouts and a weekly email of the session, as well as follow-up questions to discuss at home throughout the week.
The Well Kids (Kindergarten to 5th grade)
After checking in your child, we invite you to bring them with you into the main auditorium for our time of worship. After this time of singing, your child will transition to their own classrooms for their time of teaching and discussion. We use The Gospel Project curriculum, which teaches through the Bible and connects it all back to Jesus. We partner with our kids’ parents by providing handouts and a weekly email of the session, as well as follow-up questions to discuss at home throughout the week.
The Well Students (6th to 12th grade)
We invite you to bring them to the main auditorium for our time of worship. After this time of singing, the students will transition to their space on the third floor. Our student ministry uses Bible Studies for Life curriculum, which takes the students relatable studies that connect teens to God's Word and each other. We partner with our students’ parents by providing a follow-up email with an overview of what they are learning, as well as questions to review with students at home.
